VentraIP "Premier" Plan

  • AU$38 per month
  • AU$456 per year when prepaying one, two or three years

The VentraIP "Premier" Plan is a good high end shared web hosting plan suitable for larger business and more complex websites.

Remember to allow space for backups and emails stored on the server which both count towards the 25 GB limit.

WordPress and Joomla run fine on these plans and can both take advantage of LiteSpeed Cache for extra performance if needed.

VentraIP

VentraIP was founded in 2010 and is the largest privately owned web hosting and domain name registrar in Australia. They are 100% Australian owned and operated.

VentraIP have acquired a few smaller web service providers over the last few years and it seems unlikely that they will be bought by any other company in the meantime.

They have grown steadily, mostly relying on word of mouth rather than big advertising campaigns or through affiliate sales.

VentraIP resells web hosting and domain registration services through their Synergy Wholesale brand and also had a budget web hosting and domain registration service under the Zuver brand until April 20201 when Zuver was phased out in favour of VentraIP.

VentraIP Acceptable Use

The current VentraIP Web Hosting Plans have many unlimited features such as unlimited monthly data although clients are still subject to the Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service. The latest versions of these documents can be found at:

VentraIP Server Locations

The primary VentraIP data centre is in Sydney with some legacy systems hosted in Melbourne.

VentraIP Support

VentraIP offer 24/7 phone and e-ticket support. Response times for support and quality of support are usually fairly good although there is sometimes a short delay on more complex issues until the issue is escalated to a higher support level.

VentraIP Performance

Websites hosted by VentraIP load quickly.

LiteSpeed cache is available on all the VentraIP shared hosting plans.

CloudLinux on VentraIP shared hosting ensures resources are evenly distributed and not hogged by a few inconsiderate users.

VentraIP offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee and uptime is usually fairly good.

VentraIP Promotions

VentraIP offer promotions at various times of the year e.g. Black Friday / Cyber Monday and these can often be quite generous.

New customers are also sometimes offered a discount on their first invoice.

Yes!

The primary purpose of this website is to provide unbiased, honest and up to date information about the best Australian web hosting companies.

It's certainly reasonable to question the integrity of web hosting comparison websites especially ones that promote Bluehost, Hostgator and GoDaddy as Australian web hosting companies. None of these companies have any server infrastructure in Australia but are often promoted in Australian web hosting comparisons because of the generous commissions that they pay. I don't recommend any of these hosting companies for local websites and they are not included on this website.

Hosting companies are included on this website based on merit rather than any commission they might or might not pay. I judge web hosting companies based on my own experience building and maintaining websites for hundreds of clients over the last 15 years, opinions of trusted web professionals, trusted industry forums, genuine reviews and other web resources.

For transparency, all "Visit Website" affiliate link buttons on this website are prominently displayed in orange with an "Affiliate Link" tooltip shown when you hover over the button.

Purchasing web hosting via an affiliate link here is much appreciated as it helps cover the cost of running the website and motivates me to keep the information up to date.
